BRITS NOW DRINKING MORE COFFEE THAN TEA

According to a new survey by the statistics website Statista conducted earlier this year, more Britons are now drinking coffee than tea. Out of a survey of more than 24,000 Britons, 69% of Gen Xers said they regularly drink coffee, while 64% said they regularly drink tea. The results were similar across generations, with 76% of Baby Boomers saying they regularly drink coffee, while 74% said they regularly drink tea. In a possibility summed up by many Brits, Liz Coleman, who is 31, said she needs a regular jolt of caffeine to get through her day. “Tea has my heart,” she said. “But I can’t live without coffee.”
* But, she added,”Jellied eels still has my breath.”
* Different drink, same stained teeth.
* They drink coffee for a regular jolt of caffeine? Boy, Coca-Cola screwed up their British marketing somewhere along the line.
* In a different era, the Boston Tea Party could have been the ‘Boston Coffee Klatch.’
* More Earl Grey for Captain Picard.
