BREAK-IN SUSPECT COVERED IN ICING

Alpena, Michigan, police responded early Sunday to a report of a possible breaking and entering of a house. The homeowner reported hearing a commotion, then found an unknown woman inside the house. The woman quickly fled, knocking over a tray of cupcakes and several other items on the way out. State police spotted her a few blocks from where the break-in occurred. She was described as “highly intoxicated and had cupcake frosting and cake all over her torso and legs,” a police report said.
