BOY HAD LEGO UP HIS NOSE FOR TWO YEARS
In Dunedin, New Zealand, a seven-year-old boy had a Lego piece stuck up his nose for two years. In 2018, Sameer Anwar told his parents he had lost a Lego piece up his nose, and couldn’t find it. They took Sameer to the doctor, who was also unable to find it. The doctor advised them the piece would move through their son’s digestive tract, if it had even been there in the first place. Since then he never complained. But recently, a plate of pink cupcakes prompted Sameer to lean down and take a great big sniff. Immediately, his nose began to hurt. His mother helped him blow his nose, and out popped a tiny black Lego piece, covered in fungus. His father, Mudassir Anwar, said the piece looked like a little plastic screw and was part of a Lego character’s arm.
* It’s always in the first place you look.
* Now Sameer can finally finish building his Lego Batman.
* Coulda been worse. Coulda been a Lincoln Log.
* You think this is news, but it’s not.
* Now check his ears.
* And excellent work by that doctor, I have to say.
