BOY FINDS GUN IN MALL, MOM FIRES IT TO SEE IF IT'S REAL

A mother and her 8-year-old son were inside of a dressing room in the Adidas store at Lenox Square Mall in Atlanta, Georgia, Wednesday when the boy found what he thought was a toy gun under a bench. Mom decided to pull the trigger to “determine if the gun was real.” It was. A single shot was fired from the .22 caliber gun but no one was injured. Police say “there was minimal damage to the wall” from the gunshot. The incident is under investigation.
