BATHROOM AVAILABILITY AROUND THE WORLD

Do you like travel, but live in fear of not being able to find a restroom in a foreign city? The QS Supplies company has researched the best and worst popular tourist cities for public bathroom access around the world.
– Paris, France, is one of the best cities equipped with bathrooms and has an estimated 17 public restrooms per square mile.
– Sydney, Australia is #2 (* Ha!) with 3.64 restrooms per square mile (* I wouldn’t want to use the one that’s only 64-hundredths of a restroom. Sounds like two walls are missing.) Zurich, Switzerland is #3 at 2.9 per square mile.
– The rest of the Top Ten, with about one public bathroom per square mile, are Taipei, Copenhagen, Brussels, Tel Aviv, Barcelona, Lisbon and Vienna.
– Among major cities ranked poorly: Johannesburg, Shanghai, Delhi, Los Angeles, Amsterdam and Seoul all have less than one restroom per square mile. (* No offense, but does Delhi even use bathrooms? I thought they had a river for that.)
– Among U.S. tourist spots, the nearest restroom to the Cadillac Ranch, in Amarillo, Texas – the place with all the Cadillacs buried in the ground – is around four miles away, making it one of the most remote destinations in the country.
* What will people do with this list? Change their plans to go to L.A. and visit Sydney, Australia instead?
* Always go before you leave, to be safe. This includes leaving America.
* This is helpful information. You know what would be more helpful? A MAP!!!!
* And that’s the latest poop on international restrooms.
