BANK VAULT FLOODED, ALL MONEY SOAKED
Every single bill inside the depository at the Fox River State Bank in Burlington, Wisconsin, was destroyed last week when 21 inches of water rushed into the building. Keith Polleck, the bank’s CEO and president, declined to reveal exactly how much money was ruined – he didn’t want to say how much money his bank has on hand – but said customers needn’t be worried as the Federal Reserve would replace every dollar affected.
* Too lazy to iron them?
* Fox River State Bank, where your mortgage isn’t the only thing underwater.
* Maybe they should move the Fox River State Bank farther away from the Fox River?
* It was a branch bank – a RIVER branch! Get it??? Sorry, I got nothin’.
* Is that what they call liquid assets?
* Floating a loan?
