AUDIO: TOILETS FULL, PLANE MAKES EMERGENCY PIT STOP
A six-hour Delta flight from New York City to Seattle had to make a stop in Billings, Montana, after the plane’s toilets filled up and passengers couldn’t hold it any longer. The direct flight diverted hundreds of miles south on Saturday to make the emergency bathroom stop. Upon landing in Billings, the plane had to taxi to a cargo area because a gate was not available. Delta says ground crews rolled a stairway to the airplane so passengers could “disembark to find relief of built-up pressures.”
* As Dad always said, you should have thought of that before we left.
* “We made a stop at Billings, Montana. What a dump! … I had.”
* The flight attendants are getting a little too generous with the drinks.
* Upon leaving, did the pilot say, “All systems are go, we are ready for takeoff”?
* Finally, an airline that gives a crap about the customer.
* And one that doesn’t empty their toilets mid-flight so people’s homes get hit with that famous “blue ice”.
