AUDIO: MAN STEALS GREYHOUND BUS

A man drove away with a Greyhound bus on Manhattan’s West Side on Thursday afternoon. The man stole the parked bus from a Greyhound lot a few blocks away from Port Authority Bus Terminal. A Greyhound employee ended up flagging down Port Authority police officers to tell them that the bus was headed their way. The officers pulled over the bus without incident less than 10 blocks south of the lot. The suspect, identified as 54-year-old Charles Brown, was arrested. It’s unclear what Brown allegedly planned to do with the stolen bus.
* Sell it for peanuts?
* You blockhead, Charles Brown.
* What part of “Leave the driving to US” didn’t he understand?
* This could be an even worse sequel to “Speed” than “Speed 2: Cruise Control”.
* Like the guy could afford the toll through the Lincoln Tunnel to get out of Manhattan.
* Watch for the animated TV version, “It’s Grand Theft Auto, Charlie Brown!”
CLIP: We have audio of the judge reading the charges to Charles Brown (the Peanuts teacher trombone voice).
