AUDIO: GUY LOSES CAR AT METALLICA CONCERT
Gavin Strickland, 19, of New York state, went to a Metallica concert in Toronto last Sunday. Afterwards, he couldn’t remember where he parked his Nissan Versa. After fruitlessly searching, and having a cop drive him around for a few hours, he told his parents. The only thing he remembered was the car had been parked “near a Starbucks where there is some construction going on.” So, his parents posted an ad on Craigslist:
“Our doofy son parked the car in an indoor parking garage, in the first floor but that garage cannot now be located. Please respond with photos of the car and specific location instructions to claim a reward.”
A woman named Madison Riddolls managed to track down the missing Nissan at the TD Bank Tower early Thursday morning and reported back to the Stricklands. Strickland’s father plans to send Riddolls a $100 reward.
* It’s “Dude, Where’s My Car 2: Electric Boogaloo.” (see clip below)
* In his defense, you know … Metallica.
* Usually all you lose at a Metallica concert is 15% of your hearing.
* They call their son “doofy” ’cause he’s under 21. On his 21st birthday he officially can be called a “doofus”.
* Did sonny boy have to pay the four-day parking fee?
