AUDIO: CRUISE CAPTAIN ORDERS LOCAL FOOD FOR EVERYBODY DURING A STOP

The captain of a cruise ship ordered some traditional local food for all of his passengers during a port stop. The Amazara Journey cruise liner is taking 700 passengers on a 10-day tour of Northern Europe. During a stop in Newcastle Upon Tyne, England, Captain Johannes Tysse was told by his crew that a visit to Newcastle wouldn’t be complete without a taste of the food from Greggs, a local bakery chain. So, he ordered up enough sausage rolls (sausage encased in flaky pastry), vegan sausage rolls, and stottie cakes (a round bread) for 700 people. The passengers appreciated the gesture and gave the captain a big cheer.
* Well, except for the passengers who can’t have gluten. They gave the captain a big jeer.
* Just what cruise ship passengers want – more food.
* No word on how much kickback the crew got for pushing Greggs bakery.
* While the passengers were enjoying their bakery products, the crew got a chance to loaf.
* Sausage in bread. Boy, you never see that anywhere else, do you? (see clip below)
