AUDIO: CAR HIT BY WATERMELON

A Singapore man’s car was hit by a watermelon allegedly thrown from a high-rise building. Mr. Wang Wei Jian was driving in Jurong, West Singapore last Friday. As he turned a corner, a watermelon hit the windshield. He believes the watermelon was thrown by a resident of a tall building on the corner. Mr Wang Wei’s wee little son, “Wee” Wang Wei, who was in the passenger seat when the incident occurred, said it wasn’t an entire watermelon that was thrown down – just a large piece. Police have launched an investigation.
* The prime suspect: Gallagher.
* He’s lucky he didn’t have the sunroof open.
* Was he in a seedy part of town?
* I expected this story to be juicier.
CLIP: Apparently, there was a witness. From Mrs. Doubtfire, “It was a run-by fruiting.”
