AT LAST, PIZZA SHOES

Pizza Hut is now offering shoes that order pizza for you. The shoes, called Pie Tops, include a button that connects to a mobile app to order the pizza. The shoes, designed to coincide with March Madness, are limited edition. The company is only producing 64 pairs, the same number of teams in the basketball tournament. A majority of the shoes are being used for promotional items, but a spokesperson said some would be available to the public later in March.
* Thanks, but what I really wanted was pants that order beer. Brew Jeans, I’d call them.
* Great. Now when I lay on the couch in my underwear watching the games, I’ll have to put shoes on.

* Wait, you have to bend down to press the button on your shoes? Who wants to work that hard?
* How about you click your heels together and say, “There’s no topping like pepperoni … There’s no topping like pepperoni …”?
* Or make it more convenient. Put the button on the box the last pizza came in that’s still sitting there on your coffee table.
* I like how they say the shoes are limited edition like everyone will want them.
* Sometimes I think they just come up with these gimmicks to get their name in the papers … and it works.
