ARMED ROBBER GETS FACE FULL OF CHILI POWDER
In England, a masked, armed robber walked into the A1 Convenience store in Kingstanding, Birmingham, shortly before 10.30pm on Saturday night. With a large knife in his hand, he demanded cash from the owner. But the owner reached beneath the counter and tossed a big handful of chili powder into the robber’s face. The stunned man stumbled back and ran from the store in a panic. The shopkeeper, who wanted to remain anonymous, keeps a large open container of chili powder under the counter for just such an occasion.
* And sometime at the A1 Convenience store, they splash robbers with A1 Steak Sauce.
* The owner took things into his own hands, eh?
* Boy, was that robber’s face red.
* Of course, you know about British cooking. They put chili powder on their cucumber-and-kidney pâté toast.
* The moral, I guess, is you don’t need a gun rack. You just need a spice rack.
