ANGRY GUEST DRIVES CAR THROUGH CHINESE HOTEL LOBBY
A disgruntled guest rammed his car through a Chinese hotel’s glass doors Tuesday morning and drove wildly around its lobby, after arguing with staff about his missing laptop. The Audi A5 smashed the glass doors of the central Shanghai hotel, then burst through into the lobby, knocking over everything in its path. The man drove around the lobby area, smashing into things, as guests hurried out of the way. The car became stuck as he tried to leave. The 28-year-old driver was detained by authorities. Hotel staff reported the stolen laptop had been found outside the hotel.
* Not Fast, but pretty Furious.
* No giant aquarium to smash into?
* Filming on the next Jackie Chan movie has begun, I see.
* What were the staff waiting for? A tip?
* The hotel now has a new slogan: “Crash here tonight.”
* You know, a rattling air conditioner can have that same effect on people trying to sleep. Just sayin’, Super 8 Motels.
