AMAZON DRIVER LEAVES PACKAGE, DEFECATES IN THE STREET

In Sacramento, California, Nemy Bautista arrived to her home and found a package on her doorstep, and a large pile of poo in the street. Thinking it was from a dog, she checked the security video footage. It showed that a woman delivering packages for Amazon drove up in a U-Haul van, got out, delivered the Amazon package, went back to her van, opened the passenger side door, squatted down, and defecated. Bautista contacted Amazon, and a supervisor came out to the home. Bautusta said “he was not prepared for cleanup. He was in shock when he saw the size of ‘it’. He ended up scooping it up with a plastic bag, but didn’t want to take it with him, so he put it in a garbage can.” A representative from the Amazon Executive Customer Relations called her shortly after, apologized, and said the driver would be “taken care of.”
* If by “taken care of” she means “given more breaks to take care of her basic biological needs”, then good.
* Some employees don’t give a crap. This woman does.
* Amazon, the Number 2 delivery service in the world.
* In package delivery parlance, I believe this is called “dump and run”.
* Boy, with all these security cameras everywhere, it’s getting harder and harder to have any fun.
* Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to go make a delivery from Amazon.
