AIRLINE HIRES PET PSYCHIC TO FIND MISSING CAT
Bolivia’s state airline is paying for an animal psychic to track down a passenger’s cat that went missing in transit. Tito the cat was reported lost by his owner, Andrea Iturre. The airline stopped its search after a week, but agreed to pay Ms. Iturre’s costs while she kept looking around the airport in the Bolivian city of Tarija. She hired a pet psychic, who claims to sense that Tito is still alive, somewhere. But, so far, there’s no trace of Tito.
* Which, of course, is germane to the case.
* It’s good to know which airlines do not have a clear understanding of how science works.
* So far, the pet psychic has not found the cat in her new Range Rover, near her new pool or in her new addition to the house. But she’ll keep looking.
* How about at one o’clock in the afternoon, everybody in town stops what they’re doing, and runs their can opener.
* The Bolivian government might as well pay for a cat search. It’s not like they’re spending money looking for illegal drugs.
