ADULTS EAT MORE CANDY THAN WHEN THEY WERE KIDS

As we roll towards Easter Sunday, a new poll of 2,000 Americans from Hi-Chew, maker of Japanese candy, reveals a few things:
– 52% eat more candy now as adults than they ever did as kids.
– The average person first picked a “favorite candy” around the age of 11 and has stuck with it ever since.
– One in three (35%) prefer chewy candy the most.
* First of all, we eat more candy as adults because 1) our stomachs are bigger and 2) we weigh more so our bodies need more sugar energy to move. So stop with the shaming.
* And we have jobs, not allowances, so we can buy more candy. That okay with you?
* “Oh, boy, Japanese candy for Easter!” said no kid ever.
* I’ve never had it, but I can’t get past the feeling that all Japanese candy tastes like fish.
