ADOLF HITLER BEGINS POLITICAL CAREER AS COUNCILMAN

A politician named after Adolf Hitler has won a local election in Namibia by a landslide. Adolf Hitler Uunona won a seat as a council member last week with 85 percent of the vote. Acknowledging his unfortunate name, Uunona said his father chose the name, though he “probably didn’t understand what Adolf Hitler stood for.” Adolf and other Germanic names are not uncommon in the country, which was ruled by the Germans until 1915. He says, “As a child I saw it as a totally normal name,” Uunona said. It wasn’t until he was growing up that that he learned the original Hitler wanted to take over the world, and Uunona says he doesn’t want to do that. Still, Uunona said that he has no plans to change his name.
* I wonder how high’ll go in politics.
* Does he by any chance work alongside anybody named Goebbels, Himmler, Hess or Eichmann?
* It’s totally possible his father had never heard of what Hitler did. It was only a World War, easy to miss.
* Just make sure he doesn’t grow a little mustache.
* Great. Now every time we google Hitler, this guy’s gonna come up.
