A PIZZA PARTY TO PRE-PLAN YOUR FUNERAL

The Krause Funeral Home in Brookfield, Wisconsin is offering free pizza along with your funeral pre-planning. The funeral home is offering free pizza as an incentive to get people in to pre-plan their funeral. The mortuary sent out fliers advertising “free pizza as we discuss how pre-planning your funeral helps ease the emotional and financial burden for you and your family.” The first pizza party planning session is today (Tuesday, January 30).
* It a little jarring when you walk in the door and the first question you’re hit with is, “What do you want on your tombstone?”
* Funeral planning with pizza? It’s a pretty cheesy idea. But then, hey – Wisconsin, am I right?
* Discuss your demise as you bury yourself in pepperoni.
* “Can we get this over with in 30 minutes or less?”
* Don’t ask where they heat up the pizzas.
* Imagine attending a funeral service in another room and smelling pizza you can’t have.
* Uncle Joe steps away to “go to the bathroom” and comes back with sauce on his chin.
* Don’t think that all that pizza isn’t going to hurry things up a bit, if you know what I mean.
