AUDIO: COLORADO GROUP WANTS TO DECRIMINALIZE HALLUCINOGENIC MUSHROOMS
Colorado was one of the first states to decriminalize and then legalize marijuana. Now, there’s a move there to decriminalizing magic mushrooms. The group “Denver for Psilocybin” is hoping to get the issue on the ballot this fall. Decriminalization would mean reducing the penalty for possession of psilocybin mushrooms. Tyler Williams, one of the leaders of “Denver for Psilocybin”, says there is a lot of research supporting psilocybin for treating mental health issues, from anxiety to depression to cluster headaches and addiction.
* And if you don’t believe him, just ask his Neopolitan unicorn.
* Cluster headaches. Sounds like what happens when Trump’s cabinet holds a meeting.
* Psilocybin can treat anxiety – unless you get nervous when flaming spiders attack you in B-52 bombers made of human eyeballs.
* It’s all part of the effort to get Rocky Mountain Higher.
* I’ll say this: I think the guy who invented the word psilocybin was high on mushrooms.
