92-YEAR-OLD MAN WINS $25,000-PER-YEAR-FOR-LIFE

An Iowa man won the “Lucky for Life” drawing which entitled him to $25,000 per year for life. Unfortunately, Charles Svatos is 92 years old. Mr. Svatos chose to receive his prize as a lump sum of $390,000, which ended up being $273,000 after taxes. He’s going to use his winnings to travel.

* “Lucky for Life”? Not for the first 91 years, he wasn’t.
* Back in the day, he had some ideas about what he’d do if he got rich, but now he can’t remember them.
