51 DEAD GEESE FALL FROM THE SKY

51 geese suddenly fell from the sky into a parking lot Saturday evening in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Fish and Game officers believe the birds were struck by lightning during a ferocious hail and thunderstorm. All of the geese – 48 snow geese and 3 Ross geese – were dead and fell from the sky at the same time in a one-hundred yard radius. Officials say is was a “perfect storm” of events – the timing, wind and direction of flight and weather conditions.

* I don’t think the geese would say it was so perfect.
* Their collective goose was cooked.

* Then the Fish and Game officers issued each of the geese a citation for killing themselves out-of-season.
