WHERE AMERICANS SPEND THE BIG BUCKS

A new study of 2,000 Americans uncovered what things we’re okay spending good money on, and what things it’s ok to buy cheap. The survey, conducted by Slickdeals, found many Americans splurge on personal health items but will happily buy their clothes on the less expensive side. The results:

Things We Prefer To Spend A Little More On:
– Toilet paper
– Toothpaste
– Skincare
– Shoes
– Coffee
– Couches & chairs
– TVs
– Beds
* Thanks, Slickdeals, you just sent the price of toilet paper up 5 bucks.
* If you don’t think we spend money on beds, look at the number of mattress stores in any one square mile shopping district.
* Hello? Do they know the new iPhone XS Max starts at $1,099?

Things We’re Okay With Going Cheap:
– Casual shirts
– Jeans
– Dress pants
– Hand soap
– Wine
– Going out to eat
* Good to know all those people next to me in the cheap restaurant have washed their hands with the cheapest soap available.
* Once wine started coming in boxes, the pretentiousness was over.
