WE MAKE BAD FINANCIAL DECISIONS 8 TIMES A MONTH

A new survey found that the average person has about eight occasions a month where they don’t make the best financial decisions. The survey of 2,000 Americans by ValuePenguin.com finds the most common bad financial decision is overspending. The Big Three Overspends are on dining out instead of eating at home, online shopping, and buying clothing. In addition, 49 percent of respondents reported being unable to pay off their credit card debt today if needed.
* That’s why it’s called credit, dummy.
* No more dining out? ValuePenguin wouldn’t recommend that if they tasted my cooking.
* They want us to stop shopping at online websites. Well, except for ValuePenguin.com.
* Stop buying clothing? I don’t think there’s going to be enough bearskins to go around.
* They say nothing about having 10 different cable and Netflix and video accounts, so I guess that spending’s okay.
