SANTA CLAUS DIES AT CHILDREN’S PARTY

In Kemerovo, Russia, a Santa Claus collapsed and died in front of young children at a daycare Christmas party. Known as (* the appropriately named) Ded Moroz, or Father Frost, Russian versions of Santa Claus host children’s holiday parties with the fairy tale snow maiden Snegurochka. The Russian Santa was energetically performing and running around with the youngsters before coming to a stop and falling backwards. As the confused youngsters ran towards him, they were giggling as they think his collapse is part of the festive game. But the man playing Santa, 67-year-old Valery Titenko, had suffered a sudden and fatal heart attack. He was rushed to a hospital but died on the way.
