POLICE IN MADRID CLOSE DISGUSTING RESTAURANT

First, be clear that this story is about a restaurant in Madrid, Spain, not America. After receiving numerous complaints, police in Madrid raided the Jin Gu Chinese restaurant back on March 25. They found over 600 pounds of rotten food and disgusting conditions. The restaurant also had eight faulty, rusty freezers all filled with bags of unlabeled and undated meat. There were leathery strips of meat hanging from a clothes horse inside the kitchen. There were no thermometers to measure the temperatures of areas where food was being stored. The cookware was rusted and unsanitary. There were cockroaches in the kitchen and rat traps scattered across the floor. Best of all, the restaurant was believed to have grabbed pigeons off the street and sold them as roasted duck. The restaurant was forced to close and its owner is being investigated for crimes against public health, and wildlife.
* Franchises available!
* Buses welcome!
* An hour after you eat, you’re hungry again – for antibiotics.
* This sounds less like a restaurant and more like a stunt from the Jackass movies.
* If you don’t order the duck, you’re coo-coo.
* Makes you wonder – can you train rats to eat cockroaches?
