PALM TREE FALLS ON MAN AT CANNES FILM FESTIVAL

A palm tree fell on a man at the Cannes Film Festival on Saturday. The man, said to be an agent for Japanese actor Kodai Kurosaki (* I LOVE him!), was walking along the Boulevard de la Croisette (* “The Street of the Flaky Pastry”) in the seaside French town when a strong wind came up and blew over the mostly-dead tree. A scream was heard, and a witness said he saw the injured man on the sidewalk bleeding from the head. He was taken to a hospital.
* He wins the Palme d’Ouch award.
* And THAT is how you get your client noticed at a film festival.
* One actor shouted, “Is there anyone playing a doctor in the house?”
* I hope his movie is a bigger hit than the tree.
