MURDERER CLAIMS PTSD, BROUGHT ON BY HIM MURDERING SOMEONE

The lawyer for a Halifax, Nova Scotia, man who strangled an off-duty police officer is arguing that his client now suffers from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder – brought on by the murder he committed. Christopher Garnier, 30, was convicted in December of second-degree murder in the 2015 death of 36-year-old Catherine Campbell. Garnier strangled Campbell, a police officer, and dumped her body in a compost bin. Garnier’s lawyer is making the PTSD argument during a hearing deciding his parole eligibility. The lawyer is arguing that Garnier should be eligible for parole in ten years because he has been described as a “kind, caring person” who has shown remorse for the killing, which Garnier claimed happened accidentally during rough sex.

* This is like the guy who kills his parents and then begs the judge for mercy because he’s an orphan.
* So now, whenever he has rough sex and is about to kill someone, he gets the willies?
* If your partner’s dead, I think we’re a little past “rough”.
