GAMER BREAKS NECK WEARING VIRTUAL REALITY HEADSET
A German man broke his neck while wearing a virtual reality headset after he moved too “intensely.” Doctors say the 31-year-old’s “repetitive” movements led to the neck being damaged and then finally cracking. The man was hospitalized after experiencing a piercing pain in his shoulders. X-rays revealed he had fractured his C7 neck vertebra, which sits near the base of the neck above the shoulders. Doctors believe it is the world’s first documented case of a VR-related “stress fracture.” The man needed to wear a neck brace for six weeks while it healed and he made a full recovery after 12 weeks.

* The weird part? He was playing Virtual Reality Chess.
* Well, add this to the list of things you shouldn’t do after 30. Or at least take calcium supplements.
