EMBRYONIC TWIN FOUND IN WOMAN'S BRAIN
26-year-old Yamini Karanam, an Indiana University PhD student, started having difficulty comprehending things she read and heard, and when many people were speaking in a room at once, she found it hard to understand what was happening. Doctors soon discovered a tumor in her brain. But when she underwent surgery, the surgeon found something startling. The tumor was actually the woman’s “embryonic twin.” Her surgeon, Dr. Hrayr Shahinian, says he was surprised when he found Karanam’s embryonic twin. The twin had never developed, but it was still found “with bone, hair and teeth.” Karanam is expected to make a full recovery.
* I wouldn’t call it a full recovery – not with the nightmares and everything.
* “Dr. Shahinian says he was surprised when he found Karanam’s embryonic twin.” Ya think?
* What if, just at that second, the doctor next to him said “Boo!”
* She was a PhD student before she had difficulty comprehending things? That happened to me in around 3rd grade.
* “When many people were speaking at once, she found it hard to understand what was happening.” Kind of like watching The View.
* Man, does this have potential as a science fiction horror movie.
* Sure, the embryonic twin starts growing and absorbing her brain.
* Ouch! Another “fail” for Intelligent Design.
* This is a sad story. Hey, did you know Elvis had an embryonic twin sort of along these lines? Could you imagine two Elvis voices singing harmony together?
* Now here’s Kylie Minogue with “Can’t Get You Out Of My Head.”
