DUTCH JOGGER FINDS ABANDONED LION CUB IN MEADOW

In the Netherlands, a jogger out for a morning run on Sunday morning found a caged lion cub abandoned in a meadow. The lion cub, estimated to be about 5 months old, was sitting in a small cage in a meadow in Tienhoven. The healthy cub was taken to a wildlife sanctuary for exotic big cats. Authorities are investigating.

* “Tienhoven” is Dutch for “What the hell?”
* This is the weirdest thing that’s happened in a meadow since crop circles.
* On the other hand – this happens so often they had to build an exotic big cat wildlife sanctuary!
* Before he could rescue the lion cub, the jogger had to chase away all the birds that were prancing around the cage laughing and making faces.
* They should hope that the lion was abandoned and not, like, randomly captured in the wilds of the Netherlands.
