LOTTERY WINNER INVESTED $3 MILLION WINNINGS INTO METH BUSINESS
A former Georgia lottery winner has pleaded guilty to federal drug trafficking and firearm charges. Ronnie Music Jr., 45, won 3 million dollars playing a scratch-off lottery game in 2015, but according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, he sunk those millions “into the purchase and sale of crystal meth.” Authorities said that Music purchased 11 pounds of methamphetamine with his winnings, as well as a large cache of firearms, thousands of rounds of ammunition and multiple vehicles to distribute the drugs. Mr. Music, of Waycross, Georgia, was working as a maintenance supervisor when he scratched the winning lottery ticket. “I buy tickets every once in awhile,” he said in February 2015. “I couldn’t believe it, and I still don’t believe it yet.” He now faces a maximum sentence of life in prison.
* At least he didn’t blow the money on something stupid, like gambling and hookers.
* Ronnie Music, Jr. must now…Face the Music…junior.
* They should send Ronnie Music to Sing Sing.
* You idiot. Always invest somebody else’s money.
* This is comforting. It means if I ever win the lottery I couldn’t possible screw it up this bad.
* Oh, I’d still screw it up. Only not this bad.
* In fact, this is the lottery version of Breaking Bad.
* At least he didn’t win the lottery and say, “I’m just going to keep doing the job I have now.”
* Don’t you hate it when lottery winners say that?
