AUDIO: OWNER BUTCHERS HOG OUTSIDE RESTAURANT

A Pearland, Texas, restaurant owner is trying to salvage his reputation after a photo of him butchering a wild hog went viral. Jimmy Chi owns Tose Steak & Sushi. The photo, which was taken by a passerby at the end of April, shows Chi butchering the hog outside the back of his business. Mr. Chi says the hog was given to him as a gift by a few friends who went hunting. He admits butchering the hog outside his business and in public was a mistake, but he says the entire photo has been taken way out of context. “I want to apologize to all of my customers that it was really my poor decision (to) process that hog in the back alley.” He said the hog never set foot inside the restaurant and he never intended to serve it to customers, rather to himself.
* So preparing the fish and the cow in the alley is OK then?
* This explains the peculiar taste of the salmon sushi.
* And honestly, when is a California Roll supposed to taste “gamey”?
* He should have captioned the picture, “This what happen when customer no tip.”
* “Toto, I don’t think we’re in the Philippines anymore.”
* The American public can now go back to thinking all food is magically made by the Food Fairy.
* What if he did it the politically correct way and apologized to it first?
* Sure, why eat a wild hog when you get can get one that was raised in an industrial feeding pen?
* He says he processed the hog? Damn, can’t we say anything straight in this country anymore?
* He said the hog never set foot inside the restaurant. Doesn’t he mean “set hoof”?
