YOU COULD BE STUCK IN GREENLAND

Sick of all the heat? You could be stuck in Greenland. The nation’s airline, Air Greenland, has stopped ticket sales to and from Greenland’s west coast until the end of July because of severe weather, particularly from low clouds and fog. There are almost 1,000 stranded passengers around the country who should have left last weekend, but couldn’t, and the airline isn’t bringing in any more tourists until the current ones are gone.
* I bet some of the tourists have heard about the heatwave everywhere else and are sabotaging the planes so they can stay.
* More time to enjoy some of Greenland’s favorite foods, like musk ox steak and “mattak” – the skin and underlying fat layer of a whale. Yumm! (Thanks, Google!)
