WORST SCARECROW EVER: BIRDS LIVE IN IT

In Iowa, the worst scarecrow ever is now the home of a nest of five baby birds. Meanwhile, lots of other birds are pooping on it. Renee Delfs of Mason City says “We got a little lazy last year, and we should’ve put our scarecrow away for winter, but didn’t. Now the birds are so used to him they made a nest inside of him.” She posted a video to YouTube called “Our Worthless Scarecrow”, showing how the mannequin had ceased to be a source of fear for the wild birds and instead has become a bathroom and home. “Good job, scarecrow,” Delfs says sarcastically in the video. * How about taking the stuffing out and filling it with cats?
* The birds have agreed to pretend they’re scared if that’ll help.

* Maybe if they put a Hannibal Lector mask on it.
* Hey, unless those birds are actual crows, the scarecrow did its job.
* I’m picturing Bill Murray battling these things like with the gophers in “Caddyshack.”
