WORKER MISTAKENLY GETS FLOWERS FIRST DAY ON JOB
Back in October, Jon Caña started a new job at digital marketing agency in San Francisco. His first day on the job, he found a surprise on his desk: a gorgeous bouquet of flowers. There was no card, nobody said anything. He assumed they were part of the whole “first day experience” at the company. So he took some pictures with the flowers and posted them on Twitter with the caption, “First day feels.” The posts got a large response. A few months later, at the office Christmas party, he learned the truth: the flowers were actually meant for a woman going on maternity leave, and had been left on his desk by mistake. But everyone had seen him go around the office having this mini photo shoot and they felt too bad to say anything. Caña recently admitted on Twitter what happened, and the internet has found it hilarious.

* Especially the part where the flower delivery guy got fired.
* After getting the flowers he was really confused when the company turned out to be full or real S.O.B.s.
* Geeze, my first day here I got pantsed.
* That’s what happens when you get a job at Passive-Aggressive Incorporated.
* PHONE TOPIC: Did anything bad or funny happen to you the first day on the job?
