WOMEN HAVE SEX DREAMS AS MUCH AS MEN

A new report published in the journal Psychology & Sexuality reveals that women aged 16 to 30 are reporting three times as many erotic dreams as they did 50 years ago. According to sleep researchers at the University of Freiburg, Germany:
– The study polled 2,907 participants aged 16 to 92 on their dreams, and found that, for both men and women, an average of 18% of all dreams were naughty.
– Men in the 16 to 30 age group experienced erotic dreaming about 25% of the time, compared to women at 22%.
– Studies conducted in 1966 showed just under 4% of women reported sexual dreaming. Now, because there’s less stigma around the sex lives of women, researchers say they’re more likely to remember their naughty dreams simply because there’s less shame in it.
* (co-host) (pause) What? I’m sorry, I was thinking of something. What did you say?
* When asked if they had just had a sex dream, female participants replied, “Yes! Yes!! Oh, yes!!!”
* Well, this explains why my wife keeps yelling Chris Pine’s name in her sleep.
* Also the drooling.
* Why didn’t my guidance counselor tell me that sleep research was a career option?
