WOMAN TRAPPED IN CAR WASH FOR AN HOUR – Feb 5
A Pennsylvania woman was trapped with her car inside a malfunctioning car wash for nearly an hour. Felicia Sullivan was at the Waynesboro Waterworks car wash when the system abruptly shut off and the doors closed while her car was still covered in soap. Sullivan tried using an emergency button inside the wash, but that didn’t work. She knocked on the doors and called for help, but was unable to get anyone’s attention. She ended up calling the police, and was freed from the car wash by officers and the owner of the business about 45 minutes later. Sullivan said she and her car were not harmed, and she does not bear any ill will toward the car wash owner, who apologized to her with a stack of gift cards.
* Though she has enough hot wax on her undercarriage to keep the road salt off for the rest of the winter. And off her car, too.
* A stack of gift cards. Awesome. Like she or anybody she knows would ever want to go to that car wash again.
* So the emergency button was, like, just for decoration? Kinda mean.
* On the bright side, in 45 minutes, she was able to get about a third of the way through her Instagram Reels.
* At least she was able to make a clean getaway.
