WOMAN TAKES OFF IN WRONG CAR, DRIVES IT FOR TWO WEEKS

In Cornwall, Ontario, a woman accidentally got into the wrong car in a Walmart parking lot in June, and didn’t learn she had the wrong car until two weeks later. The woman had rented a black Nissan Sentra and went shopping at Walmart. Afterward, she hopped into an unlocked, ready-to-start black Infiniti. The Infiniti driver had left his key fob in the car, and all the woman had to do was push the start button. She drove away, leaving her rented Nissan behind, continued on with her life with her “rental” car for two weeks. Upon returning to the rental company, she complained about the vehicle’s sloppy interior, including the set of golf clubs left in the back seat. The manager looked at the Infiniti keys and informed her it wasn’t the black car she had rented. They retraced her path back to the Walmart where the rented Sentra was found in the spot where the embarrassed woman had parked it. The owner of the Infinity, who had reported the car stolen, was reunited with his vehicle in a “happy and funny” conclusion.
* “Happy and funny” in an “idiot and moron” kind of way.
* I guess she’s not big on reading through paperwork.
* On the bright side – hardly any mileage charges!
* It’s gonna be a wild, wild wireless world.
