WOMAN STABBED HUSBAND OVER DOUGHNUTS
An Indiana woman stabbed her husband in the chest with a grill fork after he returned home without her favorite doughnuts. According to police, Timothy Nelson went to get doughnuts for his wife Friday morning at a store in New Albany, but the store did not have the type she normally gets. So, cops say, Nelson returned home “without the doughnuts.” His wife Michelle, 37, was upset that her spouse “did not know what else she liked after being together for several years.” The two argued, and Timothy sought to leave the residence, but Michelle blocked him. During the ensuing scuffle, she lunged at him with a grill fork, which stuck in Timothy’s chest. After pulling the fork from his chest, Timothy fled the home, with Michelle “following him and still yelling at him.” When cops arrived on the scene, they found Timothy sitting against a tree “applying pressure to the puncture wound on his right chest.” His t-shirt and jeans were soaked with blood. He was then transported by ambulance to a local hospital. The police report did not identify Nelson’s favorite doughnut or even her second favorite.
* But she had that glazed look in her eye.
* If only there was a way to text someone back at home and ask what you should buy at the store.
* I’ve heard of guys being whipped, but not punctured.
* As he pulled the fork from his chest he yelled “By Grabthar’s Hammer, you shall be avenged!” (Galaxy Quest.)
* I’d say it wasn’t really about the doughnuts, but … c’mon. It was about the doughnuts.
* The guy went out to get her doughnuts? Well, he was just asking for it, wasn’t he?
* I see why she chose the grill fork: You can get a greater reach.
* I’m just glad she didn’t use the shish kabob stick.
* Ironically the guy said she’s been really prickly lately.
* Talk about being “stuck” in a bad relationship.
* Will they take another “stab” at it?
* Of course the store didn’t have the type she normally gets. She already cleaned the store out of those.
* PHONE TOPIC: Would your husband know your second-favorite choice? Would he even know your first choice?
