WOMAN LEAVES HALLOWEEN SKELETON IN HOT CAR

Rachel Schmidt of Fredericton, New Brunswick, and her 11-year-old son recently bought a realistic-looking skeleton decoration at a local yard sale for $2. But the skeleton, named “Jeffy,” wouldn’t fit in their trunk, so Schmidt thought it would be funny if it rode in the front seat. Later, she went shopping for groceries and left Jeffy in the car. When she came back out, her car was surrounded by police. Someone had called out of concern for what appeared to be a body in the car. Schmidt quickly cleared up the mishap with police, then posted about the incident on social media.
* Worse case of dehydration ever.
* She saw the cop cars and thought, “Well, I’m boned,” and she was right.
* Time for the Fredericton, New Brunswick police to brush up on their “How To Identify A Dead Body” skills.
* What was the theory here? Someone left a skeleton in a car in broad daylight? Someone died in the car and no one noticed for six or seven years?
* As she was leaving the car, Jeffy told her, “By me a soda, and a mop.”
* You have to admit – that was a whole lot of fun for just $2.
