WOMAN GIVES BIRTH TO SOFTBALL TEAM

A 25-year-old Mali woman was expecting to give birth to seven babies. Because of the unusual number, Halima Cisse had been flown to a clinic in Morocco on March 20 and remained on bedrest until giving birth on Tuesday. Only, instead of seven babies, she gave birth to nine babies via cesarean section – five boys and four girls. The mother and babies are reportedly doing well so far. It is unclear whether in-vitro fertilization was involved in Cisse’s pregnancy. Nonuplets are exceedingly rare, with only two other incidents recorded since 1971. America’s “Octomom” Nadya Suleman gave birth to eight babies in 2009.
* She also set a Guinness World Record for stretch marks.
* She was later fined for littering. (Get it? ‘Cause she had a LITTER.)
* It’s like when you find an extra couple of M&M’s in the bottom of the bag after you think you’ve eaten them all. Yes, it’s exactly like that.
* If anybody sees any sign of the father, you’re asked to please call the authorities.
* She ought to name them after the starting lineup of the 1927 Yankees.
