WOMAN FINDS OUT SHE'S PREGNANT AN HOUR BEFORE DELIVERING BABY
A Massachusetts woman was stunned to find out she was expecting a child, just about an hour before she gave birth. Judy Brown, 47, went to the hospital in Beverly, Massachusetts, with severe abdominal pain. She initially thought the pain might have been caused by a blockage or gall stone, but medical staff quickly figured out she was actually in labor. Brown, joined by her husband of 22 years, Jason Brown, then gave birth to a healthy 8-pound, 2-ounce daughter about an hour later. This is her first child. At this stage in her life, Brown said, it hadn’t occurred to her that she might be pregnant even though her body was going through changes. “After being married for 22 years, it really wasn’t coming up being pregnant,” she said. “It was not really there in my mind.”
* But it was really there in her uterus.
* How sweet. The kid’ll be done nursing about when she turns 50.
* Something tells me the grandparents won’t be doing any babysitting.
* Almost the exact same age as the woman in the previous story who beat her husband with a toilet lid. Boy, you just never know how your marriage is going to turn out.
* This could dovetail nicely with that story about pregnant women gaining too much weight.
* She had asked her husband if she looked fat in her jeans and of course he lied to her about that.
* I love it when we diagnose ourselves. That always works out.
* “I’ve seen Grey’s Anatomy and this feels like a gall stone problem.”
* “I’ve got a second opinion: it could be a blockage. I saw that happen on ER one time.”
