WOMAN FALLS OFF CLIFF CELEBRATING END OF QUARANTINE
A woman was killed last Sunday after plummeting more than 100 feet off a cliff in Turkey while posing for a photo to commemorate the end of the local coronavirus lockdown. Olesia Suspitsina, 31, went on a hike in Duden Park in Antalya, Turkey, after weeks of a citywide shelter-in-place order. She hopped a safety barrier so her friend could snap her standing on the cliff’s edge with majestic waterfalls in the background. Then, she slipped on the grass and plunged 115 feet to her death in front of her horrified companion.
* Mother Nature wanted this one bad. “So the virus didn’t get ya, eh? Let’s try another way.”
* After a month in quarantine, it’s easy to forget how gravity works.
* Fall came early.
* Folks, please leave the cliff diving to the professionals.
* Hmm. Maybe … ELECTRIFY the safety barrier?
* As she’s going over the side in the photo, is she giving herself a forehead slap?
* In a weird twist of irony, the story has now gone viral.
