WOMAN DIES AT IRONICALLY NAMED PLACE

A Florida woman has died after falling from a trail at Grand Canyon National Park. Officials say 35-year-old Colleen Burns accidentally stepped off an edge at Ooh Aah Point on Friday, about a mile down the popular South Kaibab Trail. Park rangers located her about 400 feet from where she had been standing. Burns had been with family hiking and taking photographs of the sunrise. Burns was a regional marketing director for Yelp.
* Which was also her last words.
* Please tell me she wasn’t playing Pokemon Go.
* “Ooh Aah Point”? More like “AAAAH! AAAAaaaaaahhhh! Point.”
* Or at least “Uh-Oh Point.”
* Time for some more warning signs.
* The national parks take their share. Sometimes it’s a tourist in a geyser, sometimes it’s a cliff.
* Then of course, we have our encounters with the grizzly bears.
* My conclusion is it’s a dangerous world out there. Stay near the sofa.
* You know it’s a long drop when they find you 400 feet from where you fell.
