WOMAN CLAIMS TO HAVE CHOKED ON A CONDOM FROM IHOP FRENCH TOAST

A woman claims she choked on a condom in her French toast at the International House of Pancakes in Homewood, Alabama. Demetria Hannah claims that on February 19 she and her husband, and her minor grandson and granddaughter, went to the IHOP. Hannah ordered French toast and sausage. According to the lawsuit, while consuming her meal she felt something lodge in her throat, which caused her to have difficulty breathing. She ran to the women’s bathroom along with her grandson and attempted to dislodge the material in her throat by vomiting. Unable to dislodge it, her grandson went and retrieved her husband who also observed the condom and contacted the Homewood Police Department. She was treated by emergency medical personnel and transported to the hospital where she received additional treatment. A spokesman for the IHOP company says, “We absolutely deny this claim. It’s a total fabrication.”
