WOMAN CALLS 911 OVER SLOW PIZZA

A woman in Canada called police Monday night because her pizza was taking too long to prepare. Police were called to a restaurant in Elgin, Ontario, around 10 p.m. by a 32-year-old woman who complained, along with her 10-year-old son, that their pizza wasn’t made in a timely manner. The officer warned the woman that the 911 system was for emergencies, not for pizza calls. There was no evidence to suggest that the mother consumed alcohol prior to dialing 911.
* “But can’t you, as a police officer, defy the laws of physics or something to make my pizza cook faster?”
* This is why you’re supposed to give the customers some crazy bread while they wait.
* Should’ve ordered the thin crust.
* If only there was some way to let a pizza shop know you were coming over, so they could get your pizza started.
* Then the 10-year-old called 911 because his ice cream wasn’t cold enough.
