WINE SPILL ENDS UP IN HOME WATER PIPES
Residents of Settecani, Italy, a small village in in the Castelvetro region, had wine coming out of the faucets Wednesday after a spill at a nearby winery. Many quickly identified it from the smell as Lambrusco Grasparossa, a locally-produced wine. Officials at the winery discovered a technical fault that had caused wine to leak from a silo into water pipes. Technicians were able to repair the issue.
* Did they at least give people time to fill their bathtubs?
* A wine silo? You mean a water tank with wine in it?
* Flint, Michigan gets water contaminated with lead and Legionnaires’ disease. This place gets wine. Is life unfair or what?
* Wine coming out of your water tap. In Italy, this is known as “Wednesday”.
* Coulda been worse. Coulda been marinara sauce.
