WHAT MOVIE HAVE YOU NEVER SEEN THE END OF?

Rosmarie Trapp recently died at the age of 93. She was the eldest child of famed Captain Georg and Maria von Trapp, who inspired “The Sound of Music.” She was their daughter, one of three children the couple had together after they got married. Captain von Trapp already had seven kids when Maria came into his life. She was not represented in the movie.
On a related note, in the comments section of Fark discussing her death, was this: “Sound of Music was one of the few videos we let our first child watch as a kid. She was young so we’d turn it off after they sing at the public concert but before they flee the Nazis. We watched that movie hundreds of times, always ending it after the concert. When she was older, she saw a high school production of Sound of Music. She came home confused, not understanding how Nazis showed up at the end.”
* PHONE TOPIC: First of all – why would you deny your child the end of The Sound of Music? It’s not that scary, and it has a happy ending, not to mention that great joke where the nuns stole the Nazi car parts. But here’s the topic: What movie did you miss the ending of, or the beginning, and were later surprised to learn what happened? For example, we knew somebody who went to see “Raiders of the Lost Ark” but missed the first ten minutes. On “Friends,” they wouldn’t let Phoebe watch the end of “Old Yeller.” Do you have a similar experience?
