DRAKE GIVES TOILETS TO DJ KHALED ON HIS BIRTHDAY

DJ Khaled turned 47 on Saturday, and his friend Drake gave him a unique present — toilets. Drake gifted his friend several luxury toilets, and Khaled took to Instagram to show them off. In an Instagram posting, Khaled said he and his wife wanted to upgrade their commodes even before receiving the generous gift. “My brother Drake just bought me and my family about four big toilet bowls. This is called a Toto toilet bowl.” The rapper showed off some of the features of the toilet, including a UV-light cleaning system, remote control operation, automatic toilet seat open and close, night light, built-in air deodorizer, heated seats and a bidet function. Khaled also noted that anyone who has been to Drake’s house knows the greatness of this luxury toilet: “If you’ve ever been to Drake’s house, you know it’s worth $500 million,” Khaled said. Khaled didn’t specify which Toto toilet model he received, but it appears to be the Toto “Neorest,” which ranges in price from $5,600 to $20,000.
* And then there’s the extra money he got publicizing them on Instagram. Double win!
* Sounds like quite the dapper rapper crapper.
* It’s the best toilet going, they say.
* $20,000!! That’s enough to make you sh–uhhh… shout, “Gee, that’s a lot of money.”
* It’s called a Toto, because it flushes everything, and your little dog, too.
* Why can’t I have the glamorous life of a rap star?
* It’s weird how we never had these kinds of headlines about, oh, George Jones or Andy Williams.

STUDY: THE FAVORITE SMELL OF THE HOLIDAYS IS CINNAMON

According to a new survey of 2,000 U.S. adults from the Spam canned meat company, of all people, the Top Five Favorite Flavors and Smells that evoke feelings of holiday nostalgia and comfort the most are: cinnamon (58%), pumpkin (54%), peppermint (52%), cocoa (47%), and nutmeg (39%).
* Allspice gets no respect.
* Was Spam really hoping for a showing in the top five? They should ask for their money back.
* If your holidays are particularly stressful, your favorite smell could be eggnog with rum.
* Coming in sixth, oddly, was wet socks drying on the baseboard heaters.

WALKING IN SNOW IMPROVES YOUR BODY IMAGE

An international team of researchers has found that spending time outdoors in snowy surroundings can improve how people feel about their own body. While previous studies have found that green spaces, such as parks and forests, and blue areas, such as lakes and rivers, can improve body image, the new report is one of the first to link “white spaces” to body self-image. The researchers sent 87 women in small groups out into a snowy woodland. Each participant completed a measure of their body appreciation before and after the walk. The study found that spending a short amount of time in a snowy landscape, in this case around 40 minutes, had the power to boost a person’s appreciation of their own body.
* Well, of course. You come inside and throw off 10 pounds of winter coats and hats and mittens and boots and long underwear and of course you’re going to feel thinner.
* It also helps if you make a really fat snowman and take a selfie next to it.
* Not to mention the two or three pounds you lose being chased by a moose.
* This just in: International researchers have run out of things to research.

U.S. NEWS

AUDIO: FLORIDA DRIVER CRASHES INTO FIREWORKS STORE

A fireworks store in Melbourne, Florida went up in what we can assume were spectacular flames after a car slammed into the building Monday afternoon. (* Hmmm…skyrockets in flight, afternoon delight.) Police said an SUV struck a Toyota, causing both vehicles to travel through an intersection and into the parking lot of the Phantom Fireworks store. The SUV then crashed into the store, igniting the fireworks within. Sadly, the 53-year-old male SUV driver was found dead at the scene.
* At least he … went out with a bang.
* Phantom Fireworks – now it’s here, now it’s not.
* Maybe rescue workers could have gotten to the driver sooner, but they were waiting for the grand finale.
* There were lots of oohs and ahhs from onlookers, as in, “Ooh, what an idiot,” and “Ahh, what a dope.”
CLIP: This is right out of the scene in the first Naked Gun movie when a bad guy crashes into a fireworks factory, and Lt. Frank Drebin is out front trying to disperse the crowd.

OHIO COUPLE DELIVERS TOSSED FEDEX PACKAGES

A good-hearted Ohio couple who saw a FedEx delivery driver dumping packages on Black Friday picked them all up and spent hours hand-delivering them to their intended recipients. Tristen Raisch and Zachary Arnwine grew suspicious when they saw a FedEx truck pulled over to the side of the road with its emergency lights on and the driver apparently throwing things out of the truck. By the time the couple turned around, the driver had already gone. They debated calling police, but feared it would mean an even longer delay for the packages to finally reach their destinations. So, Tristen and Zachary spent hours last Friday driving around Dayton making sure the packages reached their recipients. Zachary said he “thought that was the right thing to do.” FedEx said on Tuesday they were “reviewing this matter and will take the appropriate action.”
* Send them FedEx patches to sew on their coats?
* Suffice it to say the driver is now ex-FedEx.
* What was he thinking? “These packages have come from all over the U.S., but I just can’t make it the last ten blocks!”
* Said the US Postal Service: “Can you give us that guy’s number?”
* So delivery drivers are going crazy now because of unreasonable job demands, and it’s not even December.
* Amazon drivers would never do this, ’cause of, you know, the electrocution collars.

MAN CAUGHT ON SECURITY CAMERA STEALING SECURITY CAMERA

A security camera thief was unwittingly filmed by the security camera he was stealing from the backyard of a house in Tullahoma, Tennessee. Police were contacted by the victim who had received an alert over his cellphone that there was movement detected around the security camera. He watched from his phone as a man removed the camera but was unaware that the camera was still rolling. The camera went into a backpack for awhile, then was pulled out of the backpack -still operating – and sold to another man that police were familiar with. Police then went to that man and found the camera, which was still putting out a live feed. He told them where to find the alleged thief, Jonathan James Frazier, who reportedly confessed to stealing the camera.
* It’s nice when a product actually does what it’s supposed to.
* He should have pleaded innocent. His lawyer could plead deep, deep, deep fake.
* Imagine the conversation when he went to fence it. “Does it still work?” “Of course it still works. Look at this flashing red light – uh oh.”
* A case of self-sabotage. Or selfie-sabotage, more like.
* We’ve learned an important lesson here today. If you’re going to steal a security camera, put a bag over the lens first.

AUDIO: WEST COAST BEACH GAINS ANOTHER FOOT

San Francisco Bay Area police are investigating a human foot found inside a Saucony running shoe that washed up on a beach in Richmond. The foot was found Saturday afternoon on Point San Pablo Beach. It’s a right foot, likely a size 6 or 7 that belonged to a woman or small man. They estimate that it was in the water at least a couple months, probably longer. The case is obviously similar to the many detached human feet, in sneakers, that have been found further north, on the coasts of British Columbia and Washington state. Since August 20, 2007, beachcombers have found at least 21.
* Really? When I go to the beach, I usually look for shells, but whatever.
* The Coast Guard is currently searching the ocean for somebody swimming in circles.
* In the water for months, and no fish wanted to eat it? Boy, how bad did THAT person’s feet stink?
* All they know for sure is the foot belongs to someone named Eileen or Neil.
* And they possibly work at IHOP.
* Dang. Now I’m hungry for a footlong from Subway.

187 COINS REMOVED FROM MAN’S STOMACH

Doctors in Lingsugur, India removed 187 coins from a man’s stomach after he showed up at the hospital with ” stomach pain .” The man had swallowed dozens of coins of various denominations, over three pounds worth (1.5kg) – leaving him heavily bloated and vomiting. Doctors say the man was suffering from a psychiatric problem and had been swallowing the coins for the last two to three months.
* When they finally removed the coins, he was happy for the change.
* Maybe the man was a walking swear jar. If you swear, put some money in the man.
* He was being his own piggy bank?
* The doctors asked, how do you want us to remove these coins – heads or tails?
* Doesn’t he know that know one uses hard currency anymore? He should learn to swallow credit cards.
* Of course, the hospital kept the coins as a down payment towards his bill.

LORETTA LYNN STATE PARK IN THE WORKS

The family of late Country legend Loretta Lynn is working to rename Paintsville State Park in Kentucky. They want to change it to Loretta Lynn State Park. A petition was recently issued to request the bluegrass state to consider honoring the country legend by changing the name of the national conservation area. Lynn’s family is encouraging fans to sign the Change.org document. They wrote on her official Twitter account: “She would LOVE this so much. Kentucky, and especially her home area were always in her heart.” Adding, “The petition requires 25,000 signatures to be considered by Governor Andy Beshear and to change the name to Loretta Lynn State Park. She’s given a voice to those coal miners that have worked so hard, to the rural woman – just so much,” said Marchetti in a video. “To get this park named after her would be really cool.”
